Done as an experiment with Painter. Its the first time I've fully used Painter, I've always been primarily a Photoshop person. Its probably 80% painter then some Photoshop magic. Working in some insect textures in Photoshop and some detail overlays in a similar way to previous works but trying to keep allot of the initial painted stuff on the surface.

For the character I felt it important for her to be very natural, a mix between amazonian, egyptian, long limbs, strong jaw. A warrior and a mother.
