Photoshop, time to complete 25 hours. possibly the largest piece I've worked on and by far the most 'painted' image. Hope you enjoy.

For the last in this current series I was contemplating finnishing on a bang, like a movie, finnishing with a explosion, a battle ect. However I never set out to creat a self contained story only show climpses of a possible world. So I felt an 'end' image wasnt appropriets, instead I've opted for another glimpse, this time we look to the skies...The seeds of
these flying machines cary not the destructive capabilities of old but new life....the procreators

I stick my joy in the buildings in the homes
The spawn spreads among them, like rust it corrodes
They swim with death, my children of sin
My children to be, the metal flex they will see
Offspring's now kill, grow stronger within
They make me proud they kill just for me

The design of the procreators was based on a dream I had a long time aga, at the time I painted the dream realy quikly in acrylics, you can see that here.
Heres a follow up to 'Spark of Life', done back to back. hope you like it.
'They find her at the outskirts of there land, on the brink of death. They haven't seen a creature like her before, she is of the land for certain and its within there abilities to heal her at a great cost to themselves. Choices, healing her will weaken them and the land, will she awake and embrace them/help them or kill them all?'
Done in Photoshop 7-8 hours, hope you like it, comments welcome.

Spark Of Life, Part A

Brief story.
These creatures have a symboyotic relationship with the swamplands, they are as much a part of the landscape as oxygen is to human survival. The swamp lands have been polluted and abused but these creatures of old hold on to life, as the survival of the land depends on it, if they die the land dies. They have no energy or spark of life for themselves, only enough to stay alive for the land, in return the land carry's them, looks after them, protects them the best it can.
Main focus was on creating a sense of sadness and lathargic movement.
Done in just under a day, 7 hours , had immense fun with adding the skin textures and vines. A looser image than usual. Please, comments welcome.

The Birthground Of Kronos

Kronos is a deriviative of Cernunnos. Before I learnt of the Cernunnos mythology I'd sketched this image based on believe it or not meditaive imagery, same with the name. The work was created in photoshop7 with a mix of painting, texture overlays, photographic overlays from plants, bark, trees. Simliar to Matt painting techqniques without any main reference. It was important to keep every part of the image looking natural, a little macabre but mysterious. Am looking forward to sharing my work and the crituque on everything possible particulary the lighting and shadow.
Thanks
'a creature born from nature herself, a horned god, but unlike any other horned god in pagan mythology, a creature of such power he can command entire planets forestry and vines to wrap around the earth like elastic bands on a ball and crush every living organism if he wished'

'This is a world where the dead machines are common place, so much so that they are part of the landscape, wordshiped and revered as icons of the past, in the same way as Stonehenge and Easter Island is today'
With this piece I set out to create not just the sense of obvious scale but more a sense of wonder. What are these huge machines for, why are they there, are they dead, sleeping ect. The most important aspect was the mood and lighting, I'd like critique on this please and if the piece works as a whole, looks and gels. Comments are most welcome.
Done in Photoshope in 5 hours ( with some pre-art on the machine already done , 4 hours at the time )
